Update - Facilities has located the steam condensate leak and expects to have a pump on site shortly. Once their work is completed, Communications Resources will be able to start repairs on the cable splice, which is above the current water level.

Identified - Impact:
Some customers in Dutton Hall are experiencing static and/or no dial tone with their voice services. This is due to a flooded cable box servicing Dutton Hall. Some customers may continue to experience intermittent problems while repairs are being completed.

Actions:
Facilities Services and Communications Resources Technicians are working on flood and cable repairs. Due to the nature of the damage, cable repairs can not be completed until the flooded areas are completely dry and this is likely to take several days.

Resolved - As of 3:20 PM UTC yesterday, the Office 365 OWA outage was resolved. UC Davis has not heard any complaints today from UC Davis or Other universities via our mail list.

Investigation determined that a portion of networking capacity within a third party Internet Service Provider's (ISP) environment entered into a degraded state.

Identified - Office365 web access is currently experiencing degraded service. Some customers may not be able to access email or other web services at outlook.com/owa/ucdavis.edu . Customers can use email programs such as Outlook to access their emails and calendars. Microsoft has started rerouting traffic to the affected servers and hopes to return the service to normal shortly.

Resolved - Current Status: Engineers are deploying a fix across the environment to remediate end-user impact. 

Customer Impact: Some customers using Internet Explorer are intermittently unable to open the print dialogue window when using Outlook Web App (OWA) for Office 365

Workaround: As a workaround, customers are able to use a keyboard shortcut such as "Control + P" to initiate the print dialogue window on their browser. Alternatively, affected customers may be able to use a different web browser. 

Estimated Time to Resolution: The deployment process is expected to complete by Friday, August 29, 2014, at 8:00 PM UTC
