Scheduled - Purpose:
NOC staff will be replacing a card in the primary wireless network router per vendor recommendation.

Impact:
No outage is expected. Each controller has a 2nd link to the primary router that is connected to a different card and also has links to the back-up router. All traffic should fail over to those links during the reset.

Affected:
All of the wireless networking could be affected.

Since the successful repair of our 800MHz trunked radio system, we have verified that the current controller is functioning properly—now it is time to switch to the other controller.

Impact:
With the radio system back to normal, the switch should be quick and low-impact. Radio users may notice a brief (5-second) interruption and possible failsoft condition.
