Purpose: Our Science DMZ router (MLXe-4) has just surpassed its hardware limit to receive ever increasing BGP routes. We will mitigate the problem by adding route-map filter to permit only the default route from other UCD border routers, this would allow the MLXe-4 to work within its current hardware limit.

Impact: Risk and impact is minimal, as there are not heavy traffic on our ScienceDMZ network.
