Scheduled - Purpose:
The UC Davis HPR (High Performance Research) 100G network from UCD NOC to CENIC Sunnyvale HPR shows errors and errors are increasing. As a result of the error, the incoming traffic to UC Davis is severely slowed down. CENIC suspects that the issue is between their router and their optical node and CENIC will take the lead in trouble-shooting the problem.


Impact:
TThe link between UCD and CENIC Sunnyvale HPR will be down for approximately 15-30 minutes to debug the issue, but a longer window is scheduled here.

Further down time might be warranted if the problem can not be resolved by replacing optics or fibers.
