Scheduled - Purpose: This new Network Operations Center (NOC) UPS system is fully operational. This new system replaces the UPS that failed in February of this year. During this service period we will be dual-connecting critical NOC equipment to the new UPS power system to ensure reliability and availability of services to the campus.

Client Impact: No interruption in service is expected. We are only migrating equipment with multiple power sources. There is a very slight chance that some equipment might suffer a power disruption. Even in that scenario most critical systems will remain running on backup systems including eduroam (in degraded mode). NOC staff will be available to recover any equipment that encounters a power disruption.
