Scheduled Maintenance
Purpose: Facilities will test the Campus Data Center power generator by briefly switching Data Center power to the generator. This semiannual test, which occurs on the first Fridays in April and October, is part of an established maintenance schedule.

Impact: High Performance Computing servers and other colocation equipment not on UPS hosted in the Data Center will be shut down during the test. No impact to other services is expected. Data Center UPS systems will carry the power load during the transition to the generator.

"Customers in the cities of West Sacramento, Davis, Winters, Woodland, Dixon, Rio Vista, CA:
A road construction crew cut the fiber serving your area, causing a temporary service disruption. Our Fiber Restoration Crew is on-site repairing the fiber. We expect the repair to be complete, and all services restored, by 7:00 pm PST."

Resolved - The firewall change that caused messages sent via SmartSite to be incorrectly flagged as spam has been rolled back. Mail from SmartSite should now be processing normally.

Clients redirecting their mailid away from Cyrus IMAP will not be allowed to point their mailid back to Cyrus without ITX assistance.

Per policy, Health System affiliates will no longer be allowed to redirect their campus mailid.

Monitoring - System administrators believe they have determined the root cause of the intermittent authentication issues and have resolved at least the bulk of the issue. A patch roll-out to portions of our tenant look to be the root of the problem. We have updated our token signing infrastructure and have been unable to reproduce this behavior after numerous attempts to do so. Please clear any current SAML tokens from existing logon sessions and re-authenticate.

We encourage the reporting specific instances of this occurring now that we believe the issue is resolved via support ticket with specific details outlined above as well as informing the group on this thread.
